About me
As a digital asset management (DAM) solution architect, I specialize in creating custom systems that streamline the way businesses organize, store, and distribute digital assets. With expertise in all phases of DAM projects, including product selection, business analysis, solution architecture, implementation, customization, and ongoing development, I bridge the gap between technical and business needs.
I have successfully delivered Enterprise DAM projects across various sectors, such as marketing, e-commerce, broadcast, museum digitization, and government institutions. Notably, I provided technical leadership and solution design for an in-house DAM implementation at Unilever, focusing on asset reuse, global distribution of assets to customers, and brand protection. Additionally, I managed and delivered a DAM upgrade project for the Hachette Book Group, offering both technical guidance and project management.
I also provide both onsite and offsite consulting services through all phases of a customer’s project, including business analysis, system design and architecture, software design, and implementation. My expertise spans integrations with PIM, CMS, SAP systems, Scene7, and other technologies. Communication skills are at the heart of what I do, bridging the gap between business use cases and technical implementation.
With over 18 years of specialized experience in OpenText Media Management, I bring unparalleled expertise in one of the most robust DAM platforms available.
I have experience working with teams of different backgrounds and cultures, having contributed to projects and teams across the UK, US, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, France, Spain, Japan, UAE, The Netherlands, and Australia.

I’ve been working with Drew in a DAM project at H&M. As developer lead and DAM expert Drew has been the key person in this successful project. He has impressive knowledge about DAM solutions and end user processes. He always find good and maintainable solutions for our needs and requirements and deliver fast with incredible high quality.
He is very reliable and loyal and our team can’t thank him enough for all support, help and excellent deliveries.
It has been a pleasure having him in our team and I will definitely miss working with him when this assignment soon comes to an end.

I had the pleasure of working with Drew in a DAM implementation project over several years. He always has good suggestions for solving problem while striking a good balance between listening to the customer and sharing his own opinions. When things gets tough Drew always stays calm and professional.

I had the joy of working with Drew, over the course of 2 years, in the implementation and maintenance of a DAM-system. Drew contributed to the project with his professional expertise, combining solutions that fitted our business needs, while building a maintainable system (not always an easy task).
Drew’s professionalism is displayed in the way he handles his projects, through his development process, and through the way he handles his teammates and stakeholders; always keen in listening and educate when needed.

I had the pleasure of working with Drew for a number of years during his time at OpenText where he was regarded as very much a pragmatic, technically excellent and consultative specialist in Digital Asset Management.
He was always quick to grasp the key technical objectives of projects to be able to then design and deliver these and in doing so, create strong relationships with the client’s technical team.
Drew was also hugely capable of explaining technical developments and activities to non-technical people, which further added to his contribution to projects.
